Colemanite

3013 COLEMANITE - 2CaO.3B2O3.5H2O. Boro-Calcite or Calcium Borate. A powerful flux. Up to 10% addition produces glazes with good colour response and glaze surface. Can also produce Clair de Lune or Chun flashes. Can however cause crawling and spit out, and is slightly soluble. See also GERSTLEY BORATE and CALCIUM BORATE FRIT.
