Otherwise known as “banding wheels”, alloy whirlers are metal turntables for use on a work surface or table top for decorating ceramics and for modelling.

Whirlers have concentric circles etched into the surface to aid “re-centring” of work in progress- the spinning motion aids with the banding process.
