Code 1022 Oxidising St Thomas Stoneware Clay. Extremely popular general purpose mid/high fire clay body, speckling very attractively under normal or slightly reducing conditions. Excellent resilience and tolerance. Good warp and crack resistance. Throws and slabs well. Outstanding for school use.
Recommended firing range 1150-1280C / Cone 3 to 10
Indicative texture 4-5 (Smooth 1-Coarse 10).
