Code 3115 Tin Oxide. SnO2. Generally used as an opacifier in glazes, giving a beautiful soft creamy or bluish white. 5-10% addition. Produces a softer white and less refractory (neutral) than zircon.4 – 5% produces semi -opaque glazes 8 – 10% gives a fully opaque glaze.
